An early example of the famous model of the table lamp 9224 "Horseshoe".
Designed in the 1940s and initially distributed through New York's "Finland House". Typical
for this early version of the lamp produced by TAITO, are the fine perforations in the brass shade,
which give an incomparably atmospheric light.
In a 1950 version of the Finland House Lighting catalogue, this lamp is described as "Thoroughbred",
A very fitting image when you look at the horseshoe base . the racy, well-shaped head with the long slender neck and last but not least the leather bridle.
The lamp has only been lightly cleaned and is otherwise in perfect vintage original condition.
The original electrics work perfectly and have been retained for the time being due to the authenticity of this collector's item.
However, it is offered as untested with reservations.
The lamp can also be re-electrified on request.
