A monumental french Art-Deco chandelier by the famous Maison H.Petitot Paris 1914 - 1938. Diameter 53 inches - drop 53 inches. Newly nickeled bronze or brass metal elements. All opalescent glass components. When not lit, the glass has a milky light blue and white shimmer. When lit, it shows all its astonishing light effects with fiery orange and yellow glows in the thicker glass parts. This lamp has most certainly been made for a special client of that time period. Although all the components of this lamp can easily be identified in original Petitot catalogues, this very lamp is shown nowhere. There is not a single lamp in any of the old catalogues only nearly at that monumental size. It is a one of a kind chandelier of outstanding beauty and quality. 12 lights that could easily be upgraded.
